Tomorrow X Together Ties Twice With Their Latest Bestselling Single In America

Tomorrow X Together is getting ready to release their upcoming album The Name Chapter: Freefall later in 2023, and they recently dropped the project’s lead single. Now, that tune, “Back for More,” has become a very important hit for the band on the Billboard charts.

This week, “Back for More” debuts at No. 3 on the Digital Song Sales chart, Billboard’s list of the bestselling tunes in America. According to information shared by Luminate, the tune sold a little more than 5,900 copies in the past tracking frame. As it arrives, “Back for More” opens behind only Doja Cat’s “Paint the Town Red” and Oliver Anthony’s “Rich Men North of Richmond.”

“Back for More” marks Tomorrow X Together’s second top 10 on the Digital Song Sales chart, and now that they’ve doubled their total count of placements in the important region, they’ve made history again. Tomorrow X Together is now tied with Twice for the third-most top 10s on the tally among South Korean groups.

Tomorrow X Together has now reached the top 10 with a pair of tunes, and coincidentally, both have stalled at No. 3. Before “Back for More,” which credits Anitta in a featured role, the band scored their first top 10 hit with the Jonas Brothers. Earlier this year, the two groups collaborated on “Do It Like That.”

Fellow South Korean vocal troupe Twice has also collected a pair of top 10s on the Digital Song Sales chart. Earlier this year, the girl group’s “Moonlight Sunrise” peaked at No. 3. Back in 2021, their earlier single “The Feels” rose to No. 5.

Ahead of both Tomorrow X Together and Twice when looking at South Korean groups with the most top 10 hits are BTS and Blackpink. BTS leads all K-pop acts, with an incredible 34 top 10s on the tally. Blackpink comes in a distant second place, with five top 10 wins. This ranking would change considerably if South Korean solo musicians were included, as several members of BTS have also sent a number of their own songs into the top 10 on the ranking.
