Today’s ‘Wordle’ Answer #282: Monday, March 28th Solution

Well it’s Monday already. I don’t know about you, but for me the weekend flew by.

I’ve been busy cleaning, organizing, redecorating, simplifying, minimizing, getting rid of junk, making room for new (better) junk, and trying to get in shape. Staying very busy, in other words.

But there’s always time for Wordle. (I try to do some Dordles and Lewdles and other Wordle spinoffs also, but a lot of my spare time these days goes to Warzone and Elden Ring).

In any case, the last couple days have been pretty challenging Wordle words. Yesterday’s was tough, but Saturday’s was even tougher. Today’s is tricky not because the word itself is hard, but because of the nature of the word. You’ll see if you continue to scroll on down to the other side . . . .

Today’s Wordle #282 Answer

Naturally, before we break on through to the bottom half of this post, I must warn you of the thing I warn you about every single day. Spoilers! Specifically one spoiler—the answer to today’s Wordle.

But first, a helpful hint:

All that is gold does not glitter,

Not all those who wander are

And the answer is . . .

Found!

Okay so my hint was a bit obscure. I wanted to put the word ‘lost’ in there, because ‘lost and found’ but I didn’t want to make it glaringly obvious.

This is one of those words with lots of possibilities. Once I got mound I realized that I couldn’t just guess every possible word that ends in ound or I could very well screw up and get it wrong. I thought of several options—wound, hound and found—and then came up with a word that had w, h and f in it. I wasn’t sure the game would accept whoof but it did. The idea here was process of elimination. I knew whoof wouldn’t be correct, but it would at least tell me if any of the ound words starting with those letters were.

If none had been correct I was going to guess sound since bound was no longer an option thanks to B taking the brunt of it in guess #2, but the f was there in yellow and I went with found instead.

And that’s all she wrote!

Have a wonderful start to your week, young padawans! May the Force of others be with you!
