Today’s Wordle #592 Hint, Clues And Answer For Wednesday, February 1st

February is here at last! The shortest month of the year is the last full month of winter before blessed spring arrives in mid-March to save us all from this dreadful cold. I feel endlessly chilled this winter. I was going to take my dogs out on a hike in the woods yesterday but a bitter wind picked up and stole all my ambition. The sun was shining, but it gave out no warmth. Sorry, doggies.

February marks my second month of healthy living and ambitious exercise and diet goals. I am alcohol free since the end of last year and intend to remain that way for the entirety of 2023. I’ve also begun a whole foods plant-based diet (WFPBD) that includes no meat, no dairy and no oils. It’s challenging, but I want to feel better and live longer and be healthier, and this felt like the right lifestyle change for those goals.

Then there is the exercise. I like to joke that I have to exercise the demons because it’s basically the only way I stave off depression and my various self-destructive tendencies. I exercise hard and often and have been lately more than any time since 2019 when I was hitting the 5 and 10k races. Hot yoga, weight-training, HIIT, jogging, etc. When it gets nicer out—and streets are less icy and snowy—I plan to get out on my bike as well. It feels good!

In any case, another month stretches out before us like a field of new-fallen snow, untouched and pure, brimming with opportunity. Let’s do this Wordle!

These are funny words when you look at them all lined up. I suppose if your lover is too much of a scold you might be tempted to say adios and just pack your things and get out while the getting’s good. I mean, there must be fifty ways to leave your lover.

I’m not sure why I picked that opening word. Well, actually, that’s not true. I’ve been writing a lot about the most recent episode of The Last Of Us on HBO, and it dealt with two lovers and their life story, and I suppose that’s been on my mind. Makes sense.

I picked adios because I wanted to test out a couple more vowels and pop the ‘O’ into another box to see if I could get it green. This ended up being a very lucky guess! Lover left me with just 61 remaining possible solutions, but adios slashed that number down to just 1.

Admittedly, it took me a little bit to finally guess scold, but I got there. That’s 1 point for guessing in three and zero for tying Wordle Bot for a grand total of one huzzah. HUZZAH!
