Today’s Wordle #555 Hints, Clues And Answer For Monday, December 26th

And just like that, Christmas is over. It’s kind of sad and kind of a relief all at once. Besides, we have New Year’s to look forward to, and our laundry list of resolutions (well-trod resolutions if you’re me).

I’m considering converting to East Orthodoxy so that I can celebrate Christmas one more time on January 7th, which is the date for Christmas under the Julian—rather than Gregorian—calendar. That means it won’t be Christmas for another two weeks!

The Clue: Guessing either of Wordle Bot’s favorite opening guesses will get you one letter in green.

The Answer:

I basically whittled this one down, never really getting super lucky or unlucky. Spore left me with 149 remaining possibilities which isn’t terrible but isn’t great. Chain narrowed things down to 23—still quite a few!—and flute still left me with a 1 in 3 chance. Yikes.

Finally I got lucky with that last one, guessing judge instead of budge or queue (which I didn’t even think of at the time).

Wordle Bot got today’s in 3, however, so there will be zero huzzahs from yours truly today. I hope you had a lovely Christmas! Peace and love!
