Such agonizing irony today. I thought to myself “Eh, let’s use the OG Wordle Bot favorite starting word, crane, and see how it goes.” So for my first guess, I guessed crane and got the ‘A’ and ‘E’ in green.

Then I thought, “What the heck, let’s use Wordle Bot’s current favorite starting guess for #2” and five green boxes turned over. Normally I’d be pretty stoked getting a word in just two guesses—but if I had just guessed slate to begin with I would have gotten it in one!

What this means is that everyone who uses slate every day will have just gotten a hole in one, easy as can be—including my arch-nemesis, that bastard Wordle Bot!

This is the worst possible two guess win I can imagine. I could have been a contender! I could have been a contender!
