Seriously, though, Christmas looms large and I haven’t done my shopping yet. I’m seriously considering giving up the whole consumerism thing for the holidays because, let’s face it, it kind of kills the spirit of Christmas, right?

The Answer:

I’m pretty happy with today’s word even though it took four guesses—not nearly as good as my guessing game yesterday! But even with four, I still miraculously beat out Wordle Bot! Woohoo! It took the old cog five!

My opening guess was decent, leaving me with 123 remaining solutions. I guessed water because we went to Avatar: The Way Of Water (review incoming). From there I guessed crone (because of a character in the new Willow show—which I don’t love) and that brought me down to just 10. Alas, from here my options were tricky.

Prove got me closer, but still left me with three. I made my best guess—probing for the answer—and got the win! Huzzah!
