Today’s Wordle #528 Hints, Clues And Answer For Tuesday, November 29th

Hey look, it’s Tuesday! That means we all survived Monday, and we might just make it to the Friday finish line.

To be fair, I don’t really do Monday – Friday personally. I’m more of a “work every day of the week at any odd hour of the day” guy, which I do enjoy. I’m just also massively scatter-brained and ADHD, so it can be a little tricky to stay on task.

That’s okay, though. I wouldn’t have it any other way. And at least this Wordle column keeps me on something of a schedule!

Today’s Wordle Solution (with spoilers!)

The Hint: Without merit. Unearned.

The Clue: There’s a double vowel in this word.

The Answer:

Well this one was kind of tricky! Despite getting the remaining possible solutions down to just 6 by guess #2, I still took 5 tries to get the correct answer. I think it’s the double-U that threw me off. I’d often use a word that could eliminate more letters earlier on rather than keep guessing UE words like this, but I didn’t realize there were quite that many options left. So pique led to venue and then, at last, undue.

Thankfully, I managed to get the answer by 5 and not wipe out entirely.

Wordle Bot got this one in four, so he’s the winner and I shall go and hang my head in abject shame. Gnash my teeth and rend my garments. Wail and curse the gods and shake my fist at the clouds. All that rot.
