How is it that we only have 12 days left of October? Halloween is rushing at us full speed ahead and I’m starting to feel like things are seriously happening too fast in the Year of our Lord 2022.
It’s almost over! Less than two-and-a-half months remain. Christmas is just over two months away. And what a very strange, very unexpected year it’s been. I admit, Wordle has been a wonderful silver lining in a year that has been filled with hardships and struggle. I’m not complaining. It’s just been one of those years, where loss looms above everything else, and you struggle to find new beginnings amidst the mess.
But in many ways, the hardships have born fruit. Sometimes it’s the challenges we face that make our lives satisfying and meaningful. When one door closes, another opens—as they say. For me, life has taken on a very new shape in 2022, but it’s also given me new perspective and a new chance to figure myself out and shape my own course. That’s a blessing to be sure.
I’ve also had a lot more time to spend with my kids—12 and 15—which has been wonderful in every sense of the word.
But enough about all that. 2022 is not over yet. There will be plenty of time to reflect on the year soon enough. Let’s do this Wordle.
Today’s Wordle Solution (Spoilers!)
The Hint: A funny or odd person might be described as having these.
The Clue: The opening consonant is almost always paired with the same vowel.
The Answer:
Both Wordle Bot and I took four guesses on today’s Wordle. It’s a bit of a tricky one, though getting that ‘I’ in green right from the get-go was very helpful later on. Slime narrowed my options to 73, but guessing hound next was the clincher. From here, I quickly surmised that the ‘U’ likely came before the ‘I’ and thus a ‘Qui’ word was likely.
I didn’t even consider the third option—juicy—which would have been a lovely answer to get with slime as my opening guess. I could only think of two words: quick and quirk. Alas, I chose the wrong one for Guess #3 and didn’t get the win until #4.
But it’s still a win! Huzzah for me!
