Today’s Wordle #393 Hint And Answer: Sunday, July 17th

It’s another lazy Sunday and another end to a much-needed weekend.

If we’re being honest, I’m still feeling a bit low-energy from my recent bout with COVID-19 which has made this a much less active summer than I’m accustomed to. I think I probably just need to drag myself out of this current malaise but it’s hard to muster the motivation needed to become motivated out of the ether.

Oh well. At least Wordle doesn’t take very much work. It’s a fun daily diversion and one that I’m happy to distract myself with. I can ignore all the insane nonsense that’s plaguing the world and our society for a few minutes and just enjoy a little word puzzle game each day. It’s nice.

In any case, let’s take a look at today’s Wordle word of the day, shall we?

Today’s Wordle #393 Hint & Answer

Spoilers ahead! You’ve been warned!

First, the hint: Both a little nuts and a little punchy.

And the answer is . . . .

This didn’t start off too badly, but I was still feeling pretty stumped by guess #3.

Cloak got me three letters in yellow—better than crane would have, though Wordle Bot will still always tell you to use that word every time.

I really thought we’d have a word with the last three letters ack like stack or shack or smack or something, but that was not to be. With three letters till in yellow, I guessed a word that I wasn’t even sure was a word. What’s a kacha you ask? I have no friggin’ clue.

Still, it ended up getting me the ‘A’ and the ‘C’ into green and left me with just one more option for where the ‘K’ should go. Now I just had to figure out what would start and end the word with ACK in the middle.

Since there are not plural answers in Wordle, this meant that ‘Y’ was by far the best option. _ACKY in other words. From here it seemed pretty obvious that wacky would be the final answer, and I was right. Winner, winner chicken dinner.

Have an awesome Sunday, y’all. See you on the flipside.
