It’s kind of crazy to think we’re already on Wordle #372. Over a year of Wordles!
Granted, the game only launched to the public last October. I only started writing these guides in January. But still, that means I’ve been penning this column for the last six months.
Certainly the game has dipped in popularity from the zeitgeist of January/February, but it’s still a fun diversion for millions and I’ll keep writing these guides as long as they remain popular and in demand.
Let’s take a look at today’s Wordle word of the day, shall we?
Today’s Wordle #372 Hint & Answer
Spoilers ahead! You’ve been warned!
First, a hint: You might describe yourself this way if you’re out of practice at something.
The answer is . . . .
I probably made this one harder than I needed to, though my opening guess—dukes—ended up being pretty bang-on. According to Wordle Bot it normally reduces total possible solutions to just 206 but today it cut the 2,309 possibilities to just 21.
My second guess, sunny, reduced the possible solutions to just 9—though Wordle Bot informed me later that might might have been better (81% of the time, in any case).
I don’t even know what I was thinking with rushy (my spell check doesn’t consider it a word; Wordle Bot says he “had to look that one up”) but it cut my possible solutions down from 9 to just 1—which I got on my next guess. Maybe I’m just a bit rusty at this game, haha. No, not possible. I do this every day!
Hope your weekend is going swimmingly, young Padawans. Here it is gloriously rainy. Be excellent to each other and party on!
