Final Destination Bloodlines
If you told me that a movie in this franchise would end up being one of the best horror movies of the year, I would have laughed it off. But here we are, Final Destination Bloodlines is the second (or third) best-reviewed horror movie of 2025 at this point, and now, it’s just hit streaming so you can watch it at home.
Final Destination Bloodlines is the best-reviewed movie in the franchise, and it is not particularly close. Bloodlines has a 92% critic score and an 87% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes, rather unbelievable when you look at second place, Final Destination 5, the 14-year-old movie that had a 63% critic score and a rotten 53% audience score. If you’re wondering about the original, that had a 49%/68%.
But if we’re looking at the overall list of 2025 movies, you can see how it slides into second place. Third, if you want to count the transcendent Sinners as purely a horror movie.
- (Sinners – 97%)
- Companion – 93%
- Final Destination Bloodlines – 92%
- Heart Eyes – 81%
- The Monkey – 79%
- Clown in a Cornfield – 74%
- The Gorge – 63%
- Borderline – 56%
- Wolf Man – 49%
- The Woman in the Yard – 42%
- Opus – 42%
Final Destination Bloodlines
So yes, Final Destination Bloodlines has hit streaming as of today. Because this is day one, it’s going to cost you. Though less than two movie tickets would, of course. And you can make your own popcorn. Here’s where to stream:
For whatever reason, this does not appear to be live on the Google Play store yet, so those are your two options. Not the cheapest, but if you wait a few weeks, those prices will drop. And if you wait even more, Bloodlines will be streaming on HBO Max down the road, though we do not have an actual date.
Here’s the synopsis of Bloodlines if you’re not sure what’s going on this time around:
“The newest chapter in New Line Cinema’s bloody successful franchise takes audiences back to the very beginning of Death’s twisted sense of justice. Plagued by a violent recurring nightmare, college student Stefanie heads home to track down the one person who might be able to break the cycle and save her family from the grisly demise that inevitably awaits them all.”
If you haven’t watched the long list of movies in the series, you don’t need to, and this can be enjoyed all on its own. Get your $20 ready.
