The Best New Movies To Stream On Netflix, Amazon, HBO, Hulu, And Peacock This Week

If you’re like me, then you have multiple subscriptions to several different streaming platforms—which are all constantly adding new movies. Which begs the question each successive weekend: What do I watch?

For me, it helps to have all of those new movies in one place. So in this article, I’ll run through the biggest new films on Netflix

I Want You Back (Amazon Prime)

Peter and Emma are total strangers. When they meet, they realize they were both dumped on the same weekend. Their commiseration turns into a mission when they see that each of their ex-partners have happily moved on to new romances.

A small-town Oregon teacher and her brother, the local sheriff, discover a young student is harbouring a dangerous secret that could have frightening consequences.

Copshop (Peacock)

Screaming through the Nevada desert in a bullet-ridden car, wily con artist Teddy Murretto hatches a plan to hide out from lethal assassin Bob Viddick. He punches rookie officer Valerie Young to get himself arrested and locked up in a small-town police station. However, jail can’t protect Murretto for long as Viddick schemes his own way into detention, biding his time in a nearby cell until he can complete his mission.

Gully (Hulu)

Three friends from a rough Los Angeles neighbourhood embark on a wild night of out-of-control partying, but when the rampage stops, the retribution begins.

St. Vincent (Netflix)

Maggie moves to Brooklyn with her 12-year-old son, Oliver. Having to work very long hours, she has no choice but to leave Oliver in the care of Vincen, a bawdy misanthrope next door. Vincent takes Oliver along on his trips to the race track, strip club and dive bar, and an unlikely friendship is born. The man is a mentor to the boy in his hedonistic way, and Oliver sees the good in Vincent that no one else can.
