As her highly anticipated album Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) conquers the music industry, Taylor Swift continues to break records and make history on the charts. Not only does her latest full-length debut at the top spot on the Billboard 200 with the largest sales sum of 2023, but Swift also dominates the Hot 100 at the same time.
This week, Swift claims an astounding 25 spots on the Hot 100, with her current hits taking up exactly one-quarter of the entire ranking. Impressively, all 22 songs from Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) find their way onto the ranking, with all of them debuting simultaneously. Swift intentionally withheld the release of any singles prior to the album’s launch, creating an unprecedented wave of excitement among her fans and leaving them eager to experience her new music in its entirety.
Among the 22 charting songs, the highest-reaching track is “I Can See You (Taylor’s Version) (From the Vault),” which enters the race at No. 5. This song marks Swift’s forty-second top 10 hit on the tally. Remarkably, she secures three spots within the top tier of the Hot 100, as her other two current focuses continue to perform exceptionally well.
At No. 9, Swift finds “Cruel Summer,” which stands as her most recent single from her 2019 album, Lover. Following closely behind at No. 10 is “Karma,” featuring Ice Spice, which has maintained a strong position on the Hot 100 since its peak at No. 2 weeks ago.
Another notable entry from Swift’s repertoire is “Anti-Hero,” the first single from her album Midnights, which currently sits at No. 20 on the Hot 100. The song’s ongoing presence on the charts is a testament to its enduring appeal, as it opened at No. 1 back in late 2022.
Swift’s collaborations with Hayley Williams of the band Paramore and Fall Out Boy deserve recognition, as they help return them to the chart. Both artists earned featured credits on Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), and they now reenter the Hot 100.
With an impressive 22 new placements on the Hot 100, Taylor Swift surpasses the monumental milestone of 200 charting hits. Only two other musical acts, Drake and the cast of the TV show Glee, have managed to achieve this level of chart success.
