Stash These 3 Rookie WRs in Dynasty Fantasy Football

After breaking down my top three overall stashes in a recent article, we’ll just be looking at the three best names at wide receiver. If you play in a deep league and are chasing bench depth, this is the perfect article for you.

Two players that would qualify but I won’t talk about here are Xavier Restrepo and Chimere Dike. If you want to see their breakdown, click on the recent article linked above.

The rules for this list are simple. Only players that typically go undrafted after four rounds (ADP of 48 or later) are eligible for this list. The data for this ADP is pulled from FantasyPros.

Stash These 3 Rookie WRs in Dynasty Fantasy Football

Savion Williams (GB)

(ADP: 49.3)

Having Savion Williams this low is confusing, and he’s someone that I’m adding everywhere possible. While he’s right on the dot, I’ve been able to stash him in quite a few leagues. Williams was drafted much higher than most of the players in this range. In fact, Williams went in the third round (87th overall) to the Green Bay Packers.

It seems like most people are sick of adding these Packers wide receivers because of how many WR3 caliber players they have. Williams has the upside to be the WR2 on this team if he puts things together.

Williams is 6’4” and 222 lbs while also being a great athlete. His film shows plus contested catch ability and explosiveness. At TCU, Williams was utilized a lot like Deebo Samuel, and it’s not crazy to say that’s his upside case.

Ricky White (SEA)

(ADP: 69)

Coming out of UNLV, Ricky White was an interesting prospect. While White would fall all the way to the 7th round of the NFL Draft (238th overall), he lands in a good spot with the Seattle Seahawks.

Outside of Jaxon Smith-Njigba, this wide receiver room is open for the long term. Cooper Kupp is 32 years old, and while he’s going to be the WR2 this year, they don’t have much beyond that.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling, who is 30 years old and 5th round draft pick (166th overall), Tory Horton, is the only other target competition. White showed good separation skills, and he’s dangerous with the ball in his hands. At cost, White is a good dart throw.

Antwane Wells (NYG)

(ADP: 79)

In a few mock drafts back in 2024, Antwane Wells was a projected 1st round pick. That wouldn’t end up being the case, as Wells wouldn’t get drafted and end up signing with the Giants.

The upside combined with the situation makes Wells a good add. As a junior at South Carolina, Wells posted a season with 68 catches for 928 yards and three touchdowns. Wells would then miss time in 2023 before having a season where he caught 28 passes for 553 yards and six touchdowns in 2024.

Outside of Malik Nabers, the Giants WR2 spot is wide open for the taking. It’s a long shot, but if Wells comes anywhere close to his projected ceiling, he could easily take that spot.

Wells struggled with overcoming a lack of great speed, and he’s still lacking nuance across his game. That said, the flashes of great play strength, body control, and big plays make him an exciting stash in dynasty fantasy football.
