Florence Pugh, Pedro Pascal, David Harbour, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and several other stars from Disney’s Marvel Cinematic Universe attended the European premiere of Thunderbolts* in London on Tuesday.
The latest Marvel Cinematic Universe adventure kicks off the summer movie season on May 2. The film is the second release from Disney/Marvel Studios in 2025, following Captain American: Brave New World on Feb. 14. The Fantastic Four: First Steps will be released on July 25.
The official summary for Thunderbolts* reads, “Marvel Studios assembles an unconventional team of antiheroes — Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), Red Guardian (David Harbour), Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko) and John Walker (Wyatt Russell).
“After finding themselves ensnared in a death trap set by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfuss), these disillusioned castoffs must embark on a dangerous mission that will force them to confront the darkest corners of their pasts. Will this dysfunctional group tear themselves apart, or find redemption and unite as something much more before it’s too late?”

Fantastic Four: First Steps star Pedro Pascal attended the premiere of Thunderbolts*. Pascal plays Dr. Reed Richards in the upcoming Fantastic Four film, where he stars opposite Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/The Human Torch and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing.
Pascal, of course, also stars in the hit HBO/Max series The Last of Us, which spurred major buzz on Sunday regarding the sad fate of his character, Joel.
