SOL Stays Within a Multi-Month Descending Trendline, BNB holds near a key support level, as early buyers turn their attention to the EV2 token presale.
The crypto market is staring at another red day after fresh selling pressure dragged Bitcoin to the $96,000 region. That move pushed fear back into large-cap assets, with Solana (SOL) and BNB, ranked 6th and 5th by market cap, both fighting to hold key levels.
SOL, in particular, has continued to lose momentum after weeks of heavy selling. BNB is also struggling to stay afloat as it approaches a key support zone. Investors tracking the two coins now face a market where fundamentals, sentiment, and liquidity are pulling in opposite directions.
Solana Faces Steep Support Gap as Questions About Its Future Intensify
Solana’s drop over the past several weeks has revived the recurring question: “Is Solana dead?” The frustration is growing as price weakness comes right after Solana ETF approvals, which attracted more than $369 million. Instead of gaining strength, SOL is sliding lower alongside the broader market.
On the day, Solana (SOL) is trading at $142 showing small raise by just 0.8%, per the daily chart. The coin now sits around 25% down over the last month, adding more pain to investors.

However, this downturn has nothing to do with adoption. On-chain activity remains strong, as major companies continue to buy SOL, while developer output has not slowed yet.
But even so, analysts warn that the chart is flashing a concerning signal. Market watcher Ali (@Ali Charts) for instance, highlights that the Solana’s UTXO Realized Price Distribution (URPD) metric paints a grim picture for SOL.
SOL’s URPD shows a substantial gap in demand below $144, with almost no notable support until the $24 region. That gap does not guarantee a crash, but it shows how exposed SOL becomes if selling accelerates.

Currently, the price of Solana looks very bearish as the price sits at the lower side of the multi-month descending trendline that started in mid September. But as we come to the last few months of 2025, the price may eventually reflect the strong on-chain metrics.
If the current level holds, SOL may rally towards $200, ending the year above this level. However, a further plunge could trigger a drop below $100, with the coin potentially staying below this level till new price drivers are found.
BNB Approaches $900, Extending a Deep Pullback
BNB is showing tight and choppy movement, reflecting indecision after a steep slide from its $1,369 all-time high reached in October. At the moment, the price sits over 25% off this peak and is risking a drop further.
The daily chart on TradingView, shows Binance coin (BNB) is currently trading at $943, up by over 1,1% on the day following a rebound from $900 area as market crashed.

BNB now sits tight above a zone that has acted as major support previously. If momentum continues, BNB may surge towards $1,000. But resistance may occur around $960.
On the downside, if momentum is lost and price comes back to the $900-$920 support again, breaking it, may cause a possible slide toward the $840 region. A loss of that floor exposes deeper supports, matching the July – August highs.
However, executives at the BNB Network Company continue calling BNB “one of the most undervalued assets,” pointing to clearer regulatory conditions and stronger institutional flows.
EV2 Token Presale Gathers Steam
While top-caps like SOL and BNB are performing poorly, the EV2 token presale is making waves in the gaming industry. EV2 powers Earth Version 2, a tactical Web3 game where players fight to save the earth from alien invasion using advanced combat suits and specialized mechanics.

Solana and BNB are both fighting to hold the pressure. SOL has been weighed down by significant sell-offs since Mid September. But its new found support may prevent further move towards $100.
On the other hand, BNB is also grappling with its own down trend as it tries to gain momentum after reversing from the $900-$920 support zone. Both tokens require more robust liquidity and stable Bitcoin price action to recover. Until then, they may continue to face more pressure.
