Solana Dominates DApp Revenue Charts for Fifth Straight Quarter

Solana has once again emerged as the leader in decentralized application (DApp) revenue, securing the top spot for the fifth quarter in a row despite a significant year-over-year drop.

New figures from DeFiLlama show that Solana-based DApps brought in over $570 million in Q2 2025, giving the blockchain a commanding 46.3% share of all DApp revenue across the sector. That’s nearly triple the share of Ethereum, which came in second with $213 million, followed by Tron and BNB at $165 million and $150 million, respectively.

What stands out is that Solana retained its dominance even though its DApp revenue declined by more than 50% compared to the same period last year. This resilience highlights Solana’s continued traction with developers and users despite broader market fluctuations.

Trailing behind the top four, Base generated $75 million, while Arbitrum and Avalanche posted more modest revenues. Polygon PoS and Bitcoin also appeared in the rankings, though their contributions remained minimal.

With nearly half the entire sector’s DApp revenue flowing through Solana, the network continues to reinforce its position as the go-to chain for decentralized applications—at least for now.
