Snoop Dogg’s unexpected entrance at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Sin City

David Guetta, Tiesto, and Zedo Cascade DJs were among the artists at the renowned electronic dance event, which took place from May 20 to 23 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Sin City. 

However, it was Snoop Dogg’s unexpected entrance that truly mesmerized the audience.

The annual Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) was genuinely out of this world — but not for the reasons that anybody could have predicted.

The 50-year-old California native is no stranger to non-interchangeable tokens: this month, he will release an NFT record called Da Da alongside DJ Steve Aoki.

Grimes, 34, revealed what’s to come on the day of her DJ set. “Tonight on EDC, I’ll transport you to T3chn0 Odyssey with the first-ever Space Drop… And brand new unreleased music,” she tweeted on Saturday, May 21, along with a futuristic video.

In the spirit of sharing the festival’s distinctive positive mood, ZASH also gave away a real Bored Ape NFT (worth over $300,000), which thrilled the crowd during the drone display, while Lomotif gave away a new Tesla Model X Plaid 2022.

Snoop Dogg’s unexpected Appearance 

JAUZ fans were wishing for one of his typical walloping concerts after he performed a dazzling dance music project known as Off the Deep End at the StereoBLOOM stage on Friday. 

On Saturday night, he went full beast, even bringing out Snoop Dogg, who performed hits like “The Next Episode” and “Gin and Juice,” adding to the festival’s long history of A-list crossover moments, which have previously included Drake, Lil Nas X, DJ Khalid, and Bryan Cranston, who famously appeared as his Breaking Bad character Walter White during Above & Beyond’s set at EDC 2015. 

Snoop also brought the future to the festival by organizing an NFT drop for audiences.
