“Sinners” could notch the best second weekend for an R-rated horror movie since “It” grossed $60 million in its second weekend in 2017, Deadline reported.
The movie boasts near-perfect critic and audience scores on Rotten Tomatoes: 98% of critics gave “Sinners” a positive review, while 97% of audience members gave it a positive review.
