Prominent crypto exchange within the Shiba Inu’s ecosystem ShibaSwap announced the takeover of Shibburn portal in a blog published on 12th October 2022. The shiba burn portal currently falls under the control of Ryoshi Vision which is expected to be taken by ShibSwap.
In the announcement, the team cited the communication gap with the team of Ryoshi Vision as the reason made ShibaSwap to take the command over the shiba burn portal.
The Shiba Inu community took decisions to move aggressively with their notion of burning the memecoin in which shiba burn portal played a crucial role. It has been doing well in terms of eliminating the massive circulating supply of Shiba Inu (SHIB), the issue was only with the missing rewards though.
Why Are Responsibilities Shiba Burn Portal Transferred?
Earlier team members of both ShibaSwap and Ryoshi Vision met for a discussion over fixing the issue related to pending rewards. However there was no response from the Ryoshi Vision team when the ShibaSwap team went on to get in contact again, which they mentioned in the blog as lack of communication.
Another such example of carelessness was when a developer was made to work on certain things but was not available. Moreover, the team never heard from the specific developer then.
Additionally, the internal moderation team of Ryoshi Vision announced the creation of a whole new team in order to finish up the actions left incomplete by the assigned development team. For this reason, they also contacted the team of ShibaSwap. Apart from this, the team also founded the exchange firm about the NFT marketplace and a decentralized platform for music streaming.
The ShibaSwap team clarified about their role in the projects that they do not have involvement within the projects. Given the reasons related to no attentive and responsive behavior of Ryoshi Vision, the exchange separated their ways.
The team went on to end the involvement of Ryoshi Vision within the shiba burn portal and also disparate them from any effort or platform that would need the dependence or partnership from Ryoshi Vision in order to deploy a rewards system.
Blog post noted that Ryoshi Vision was never part of the Shiba Inu ecosystem in any way. It was an entirely independent crypto project created in honor of their founder, Ryoshi Research and Shiba Inu community.
As mentioned earlier, the shiba burn process is going on at its full pace and even changing the controller might also not create an impact over it. Recently reported burning of meme tokens showed a growth up to 422%. Although the 135 million SHIB tokens were taken out from the circulation in a single transaction, it holds the majority of recent burns as well.
