WhaleStats, a service that aggregates data on the top list of investors on various digital assets platforms, has recently announced through a tweet that canine crypto number two, SHIB, has surged in the count of hodlers.

Shiba Inu investors have surpassed 1.185 million hodlers

According to data shared by WhaleStats, more than 1.185 million investors are holding Shiba Inu. Moreover, the data aggregator also observed that the wallets count that owns massive amounts of SHIB has skyrocketed to an incredible 1,185,135 wallets despite the price plunges.

Besides, it is also worth highlighting that the tweet also claims that now the largest 1k ETH wallets owns 13,845,082,253,056 meme-coins, which is worth about $2.31 billion.

Analysts have given a detailed look at the new data and claimed that the total SHIBs stored in the largest ETH wallets are worth more than $1.28 billion at press time. Indeed, these crypto whales hold about 14.96% of the total holdings. Experts have deemed that the average sum stored in these wallets is over 54.1 billion Shiba Inu coins.

It is also notable that the FTX tokens stand ahead of SHIB is the token with the most considerable US dollar value. The Ethereum wallets hold $1.35 billion FTT, which amounts to more than 15.7% of their portfolios.

The average amount of the tokens are held by the largest 1k ETH wallets, which is about 34.289 million tokens.

Ether whales hold SHIB, FTT, MATIC, and LINK

Another tweet posted by the same data aggregator has revealed that aside from Shiba Inu, FTT. ETH wallets hold large sums of MANA, MATIC, and LINK. The top 1k whales have focused on the second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap and popularity, also holds near $279.16 worth of MANA, $176 million in MATIC, and about $161.5 million LINK.
