MLB is now in the midst of watching the development of some incredibly gifted athletes with outstanding ability, each under the age of 24.

In addition to their abundant tools, the seven players listed below bring excitement, flare, and charisma to a professional game in search of stars.

Quite simply, they dazzle on a baseball field.

Roman Anthony-Red Sox-Outfielder-Bats L-Age 21.2

Roman Anthony has an ideal MLB frame, at 6-3, 200 pounds.

Anthony projects in the future to be a consistent All Star, with multiple, game-changing tools.

Anthony’s most advanced tools are his power and his hitting ability.

This year, Anthony is hitting .264/.371/.406/.777, with two homers, 13 RBIs, and two stolen bases in 124 plate appearances, covering 31 games.

Junior Caminero-Rays-3B-Bats R-Age 22.0 #

Caminero was an international signing by the Cleveland Guardians in 2019, and traded to Tampa Bay for pitcher Tobias Meyers in November 2021. It is a trade Cleveland sorely regrets.

Caminero is 6-1, 220 pounds.

Caminero has a very advanced feel for hitting. His sweet swing reminds scouts of a right-handed Ken Griffey Jr., which is very high praise.

Caminero has exceptional, power, which is elite in the game. He was the runner-up to Cal Raleigh in the recent MLB Home Run Derby.

This year Caminero is hitting .252/.292/.499/.790, with 23 homers, 60 RBIs, and five stolen bases in 364 plate appearances, covering 91 games.

Jackson Chourio-Brewers-OF-Bats R-Age 21.3

Chourio was an international free agent signed by the Brewers in 2021.

Chourio is 6-0, 204 pounds, but he has power throughout his frame.

Chourio made his debut in 2024, and so far this year, he is hitting .264/.297/.461/.759, with 16 homers, 62 RBIs, and 16 stolen bases in 401 plate appearances, covering 95 games.

Chourio has a balanced game, and has the ability to impact the outcome of a game on both sides of the ball.

Chourio is a winning type player, with excellent baseball instincts.

Pete Crow-Armstrong-Cubs-OF- Bats L-Age 23.3 #

Crow-Armstrong made debuted in 2023, at the age of 21.

A gifted athlete,“PCA”’s best tool is wicked running speed. He is a solid hitter, with power emerging.

“PCA” will exhaust teams trying to keep him from stealing, or taking an extra base.

So far this year, “PCA” is hitting .265/.302/.544/.547, with 25 home runs, 71 RBIs, and 27 steals in 401 plate appearances, covering 95 games.

Elly De La Cruz-Reds-SS/3B-Bats Both-Age 23.5 #

An exceptional athlete, the switch-hitting De La Cruz has an outstanding power/speed combination.

At 6-5, 200 pounds, De La Cruz just makes things happen, with game-changing skills.

De La Cruz made his debut in 2023, at the age of 21.

A quick-twitch athlete, he plays like his hair’s on fire.

De La Cruz is hitting .284/.359/.495/.854, with 18 homers, 42 RBIs, and 25 stolen bases in 415 plate appearances, covering 97 games.

Jacob Wilson-Athletics-SS-Bats R-Age 23 #

The son of former MLB infielder Jack Wilson, Jacob is 6-2, 190 pounds.

He made his debut in 2024, at the age of 22.

Wilson is a superb athlete, and can likely play the outfield.

Wilson has a very solid hit tool, with the ability to use the entire field.

Wilson is hitting .332/.375/.462/.837, with nine homers, 42 RBIs, and five stolen bases in 366 plate appearances, covering 87 games.

James Wood-Nationals-OF-Bats L-Age 22.8 #

Wood was a 2nd round draft pick of the Padres in 2021, but was a focal point of the trade with the Nationals that landed Juan Soto in 2022.

Wood has a massive, 6-7, 234 pound frame, with long limbs, and exceptional power.

Wood can take the ball out of any park, with loft and carry.

Wood made his debut in 2024, at the age of 21.

This year, Wood is hitting .278/.381/.534/.915, with 24 homers, 69 RBIs, and 12 stolen bases in 420 plate appearances, covering 95 games.
