Sebastián Yatra Releases ‘Dharma+’ Deluxe Album, New ‘Tacones Rojos’ Tiësto Remix Ahead Of U.S. Tour

Global star Sebastián Yatra, whose music continues to grow in popularity worldwide, has released his “Dharma+” deluxe album, which features the debut of a brand new Tacones Rojos (Red Heels) remix.

The new version of his hit song is in collaboration with Grammy award-winning Dutch DJ and music producer Tiësto, who has turned it into a catchy dance track.

The Colombian singer-songwriter’s smash Tacones Rojos reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart in February, making it his 10th No. 1 on that chart. The dance remix of the song is his second collaboration with a top-name music celebrity.

Earlier this year, Yatra teamed up with John Legend for a bilingual version of Tacones Rojos that ranked among TikTok’s Top 10 in the U.S. and got over 1.3 billion streams, landing on Spotify’s Top 50 Global.

The Yatra-Legend remix is in the “Dharma+,” along with new song Contigo, a ballad with Pablo Alborán, adding a total of three tracks to the deluxe album.

“Dharma,” Yatra’s third studio album, was released in January 2022 by Universal Music Latino to great success, boasting 8.5 Billion combined streams, ranking No. 1 on Spotify’s US & Global album debut and No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Streaming & Latin digital song sales charts.

The 27-year old singer, who sings primarily in Spanish, this year raised his profile across English-language audiences with his performance of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Oscar-nominated single Dos Oruguitas from Disney animated film “Encanto” at the 94th annual Academy Awards. Yatra recorded the English and Spanish-language versions of the song. He has also made rounds on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, Good Morning America and CBS Mornings.

Yatra kicks off the North America on his “Dharma World Tour” in Houston on August 25, after months on the road in Latin America and Spain.
