The private, standalone personal shopping and styling suites will launch in partnership with world-class resorts across the U.S., including Laguna Beach and Napa Valley, Calif.; Honolulu, Hawaii; Nashville, Tenn.; and Orlando, Florida, among other locations.

The Fifth Avenue Club has recruited the most skilled personal stylists in each market to provide clients with expertly curated merchandise selections across all categories based on each client’s specific needs and style preferences, from clothing and accessories to shoes and fine jewelry. The new concept utilizes Saks’ unparalleled luxury lifestyle assortment available across the Saks Fifth Avenue ecosystem, with stylists presenting merchandise from both Saks.com and Saks Fifth Avenue stores during client appointments.

The new Fifth Avenue Club format advances the luxury retailer’s highly personalized, one-on-one service into new markets to serve clients who are seeking more experience-based retail. The Fifth Avenue Club’s transformative new spaces will offer personal styling and shopping services to hotel guests and local customers by appointment, as well as a series of special events, trunk shows and unique shoppable experiences.
During appointments, expert stylists will present clients with curated edits and exclusive items across all categories, from clothing and accessories to shoes and fine jewelry, curated specifically for each appointment. The new concept will utilize Saks’ robust existing inventory of coveted brands, with stylists pulling merchandise from both Saks.com and Saks Fifth Avenue stores for client appointments.
To accomplish its vision, Saks Fifth Avenue partnered with luxury resorts in key markets across the country. Partners include Marriott International Luxury Brands and its portfolio of properties including The Ritz-Carlton, and other leading hotel operators including Auberge Resorts Collection and Faraway Hotels.
By licensing turn-key private suites and similar intimate spaces, Saks Fifth Avenue plans to rapidly expand its asset-light personal shopping concept. The Fifth Avenue Club’s new format evokes the residential-feel of a Saks Fifth Avenue suite, serving as an amenity to resort guests while also catering to local shoppers. Suites can be easily reconfigured to meet the needs of each client.
