Sabrina Carpenter earns her first No. 1 on the Official Vinyl Albums chart with Short n’ Sweet, … More
A little more than a month from now, Short n’ Sweet will celebrate its one-year anniversary. The project, Sabrina Carpenter’s sixth full-length, was the one that finally catapulted her to global superstardom. It produced many of her most recognizable hits and became one of the most commercially successful albums of the past year all around the world.
As Carpenter prepares her follow-up album Man’s Best Friend, Short n’ Sweet is still performing exceptionally well, including in the United Kingdom, where it can often be found inside the top 10 on multiple tallies. This week, the project surges on several rankings, reappearing on multiple lists, and even conquering one.
Short n’ Sweet Returns at No. 1
Short n’ Sweet returns to the Official Vinyl Albums chart after missing from the ranking of the bestselling vinyl titles in the country just days ago. Carpenter doesn’t just return to the roster — she dominates it. The set hits No. 1 on the Official Vinyl Albums ranking for the first time, 41 weeks into its tenure.
Sabrina Carpenter Scores Her First No. 1
Carpenter earns her first No. 1 on the Official Vinyl Albums chart as Short n’ Sweet rebounds. The singer-songwriter has now sent three titles to the format-specific ranking, and before this week, she had peaked in the runner-up position twice.
Short n’ Sweet was joined by her holiday project Fruitcake, which reached No. 2 for a single frame last December. Her previous full-length, Emails I Can’t Send, only climbed as high as No. 19.
Short n’ Sweet Launched in the Runner-Up Spot
When Short n’ Sweet first dropped in the fall of 2024, it debuted at No. 2 on the Official Vinyl Albums ranking. The hits-packed effort returned to that lofty position several times throughout its run but never managed to rule — until now. Of the 41 frames it has appeared on the vinyl list, the album has lived inside the top 10 for 18 of them.
Short n’ Sweet Reappears on Multiple Charts
The album also returns to two other U.K.-based rankings this week. In addition to scoring space on the Official Vinyl Albums chart again, Short n’ Sweet is back on the Official Album Downloads ranking, landing at No. 57 after previously peaking at No. 3.
Short n’ Sweet also returns to the runner-up position on both the Official Albums Sales and Official Physical Albums charts. Carpenter’s effort holds inside the top five on the main list of the most-consumed releases in the country (No. 3), as well as on the Official Albums Streaming tally (No. 4).
