Rosé scores her third Pop Airplay hit in the U.S. with “On My Mind,” tying Jennie for third-most … More
A year ago, Rosé had never scored a hit of her own on top 40 radio stations in the United States. The Blackpink singer had appeared on the Pop Airplay tally — one of Billboard’s three pop radio rankings — as one-fourth of the K-pop girl group, but never with her solo releases. In less than 12 months, that’s changed dramatically.
The superstar earns a new smash on the Pop Airplay list this week alongside one of the hottest rising names in pop music. With this latest win, she advances on the list of the most successful K-pop artists in the history of pop radio in America.
Rosé Joins Alex Warren on “On My Mind”
Rosé recently joined Alex Warren on his new single “On My Mind,” and the track debuts on several Billboard rankings this week. The duet opens at No. 36 on the Pop Airplay tally, and as it arrives, it becomes Rosé’s third solo win on the competitive list.
Rosé Ties Jennie from Blackpink
With a trio of Pop Airplay hits to her credit, Rosé ties her Blackpink bandmate Jennie for the third-most placements on the Pop Airplay ranking among K-pop soloists. They come in behind Jung Kook, who has earned six — twice as many as either Rosé or Jennie — and their Blackpink groupmate Lisa, who has accrued five successes on the top 40 radio roster.
Before “On My Mind” arrived, Rosé was matched with Jimin among soloists, and interestingly, with Blackpink as well.
Rosé Follows BTS, Jung Kook and Lisa
Looking at all K-pop acts, Rosé is now tied for fourth place. She shares that position not only with Jennie, but also with the South Korean boy band Monsta X. BTS leads all stars from that part of the music industry, as the group has earned nine placements on the Pop Airplay chart.
“On My Mind” Comes After “Apt.” and “Toxic Till the End”
Rosé first arrived on the Pop Airplay list under her own name in November 2024, when “Apt.,” her collaboration with Bruno Mars debuted. That tune went on to hit No. 1, where it remained for five weeks, and it still stands as the only champion on the Pop Airplay list credited to any K-pop soloist. In January of this year, “Toxic Till the End,” another single taken from her debut full-length Rosie, climbed as high as No. 23.
