Alex Warren and Blackpink’s Rosé debut their single “On My Mind” at No. 9 on iTunes ahead of … More
In mid-July, Alex Warren will release his debut full-length album, You’ll Be Alright, Kid. The project follows the 2024 drop of You’ll Be Alright, Kid (Chapter One), an EP that helped reintroduce the YouTuber transition to his new career as a singer-songwriter.
Warren is currently riding high off the success of his global smash “Ordinary,” but he’s not resting on the popularity of that tune as the street date for his first album approaches. The rising talent has teamed up with one of the biggest names in K-pop to land one of the hottest new releases this week.
Alex Warren and Rosé’s “On My Mind”
Warren recruited Blackpink singer Rosé for his latest single, “On My Mind,” which arrived on Friday (June 27). Fans of both artists rushed to buy a copy of the collaboration, and as of the time of writing, it sits at No. 9 on the iTunes Top Songs chart.
Rosé Joins Kesha, Lord Huron and Cody Jinks
Fridays mark the beginning of a new tracking week in the United States, so that’s when most musicians release their newest albums and tracks. This frame, the top 10 on the iTunes Top Songs ranking is flush with six new entries. Sitting ahead of Warren and Rosé are just-shared cuts by a variety of musical acts such as Kesha, Lord Huron, Old Dominion, and Cody Jinks, while country singer-songwriter Jessie Murph appears just below “On My Mind.”
Alex Warren’s “Ordinary” Continues to Rule
Warren has released a trio of singles in 2025, beginning with “Ordinary.” That song, which returns to No. 1 on the Hot 100 this week, dips to sixth place on the iTunes Top Songs tally, pushed down by a slew of new arrivals.
Just a few weeks ago, Warren teamed up with Jelly Roll for “Bloodline,” which became another top 40 success on the Hot 100, though it has not held on as a long-standing win.
Rosé’s “Apt.” Remains a Huge Hit in America
As Warren collects multiple top 10s on the iTunes Top Songs chart, Rosé’s career-defining smash “Apt.” is still present inside the top 100 on that ranking. The Blackpink star’s duet with Bruno Mars continues to live on multiple Billboard tallies at the moment, including the Hot 100, Streaming Songs, Radio Songs, and Digital Song Sales charts at the same time.
“On My Mind” is just beginning its journey, but with one of the most popular female musicians in the world onboard, the track could go on to become another huge hit for both Warren and Rosé in just a few days.
