NYSE-listed Silvergate Capital Corporation today announced that the company has appointed Rebecca Rettig, former Partner at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips LLP, to the board of directors for both the Company and its subsidiary bank, Silvergate Bank.
Silvergate Capital Corporation is one of the well-known providers of innovative financial infrastructure solutions to the digital currency industry. The company is planning to take advantage of the extensive experience of Rebecca for the expansion of its services.

In her career of more than 15 years, Rebecca represented several leading blockchain clients in all aspects of litigation and regulatory enforcement proceedings as well as in regulatory licensing matters and before regulators. In her new role, she is planning to strengthen Silvergate’s position in the rapidly evolving digital asset ecosystem.
