The third and final installment of the Vanderpump Rules reunion aired Wednesday night, and it featured all the emotional outbursts, he-said/she-said accusations and near-fights fans have come to expect in the wake of the “Scandoval” drama that sent Season 10 off the rails.
But the biggest jaw-dropping details didn’t come out when the cast shared a stage together and Ariana Madix faced off with her ex, Tom Sandoval, and her former best friend, aka Sandoval’s partner in cheating, Raquel Leviss.
Instead, the real bombshells dropped six days after the main event was filmed, when Leviss returned by herself for one final interview included in the show—this time without lies.
Allegedly.
“I think it’s important to me to tell the truth,” the 28-year-old began. “I think that I’ve been lying and being so deceitful this entire time that I don’t want to lie anymore. And it’s all out there anyway. The worst is out.”
But was the worst really out there?
Sure, VPR fans knew about the betrayal that ultimately brought an end to Madix and Sandoval’s nine-year romance and Madix and Leviss’ friendship. They’ve even heard about how Sandoval and Leviss hooked up in a car while Madix mourned the death of her dog.
However, over the course of Leviss’ interview, it became clear there were more low blows that no one but her and Sandoval knew about.
For instance, there was the reveal that Sandoval and Leviss had sex several times throughout the group trip to Mexico last year, despite earlier denials. And Leviss shared that she even traveled to meet Sandoval’s mother, who she said knew all about the then-secret relationship.
And then there was the fact that, after getting together with Sandoval, Leviss thought it might be a good idea to skip the cheating drama by spinning the affair into a throuple situation with Madix.
“I definitely felt really guilty,” she explained. “A huge part of me wanted to tell her. It ate me alive not to tell her. I mean, I even suggested…I was like, ‘Maybe…What would Ariana think of, like, having me as an addition?’ And he was like, ‘No, no, no! She would not be into that.”
Leviss also stressed that Sandoval wouldn’t be into her sudden open-book policy about all these details.
“God, he’s going to kill me. I just hate lying so much. I hate it,” she said. “He’s asked me to not disclose all this information.”
But it was the last detail she disclosed that will likely upset him—and certainly Madix—the most.
Although, during the reunion, Sandoval insisted he and Leviss had never sex in the home he shared with Madix, Leviss said that was a lie. She claimed they not only had sex there, they did so at a terrible time.
Through tears, Leviss stated, “The one story we’ve agreed on getting straight, and I know that the reason Tom wanted to lie about is because it’s a really bad look to hook up with someone’s boyfriend in their own house when they’ve gone out of town, especially for a funeral of all things.”
Madix attended her grandmother’s funeral in September of last year.
