The eight-day hackathon has received a lot of appreciation and many participants joined in.
The Hackathon event started alongside the biggest blockchain event in Asia—Singapore Blockchain Week. However, the eight-day hackathon event got enough eyeballs as well as a heavy number of participants. The competition event was organized by Morpheus Labs, in association with Blockchain Association Singapore and Huawei.
The eight-day hackathon event was said to be in compliance with their plan of making blockchain tech an important means that could be used in different aspects of education. This could also open a vast field of opportunities for many developers belonging to different regions of the Asia continent.
The event started on 20th July and was set to last for eight days. In the beginning, participants in the competition were given time so they could socialize and brainstorm with each other. All the participants have been given time till the 24th of July to submit a video. This demo video was said to consist of an illustration of the crucial pitch of their concept.
According to the event’s plan, the judging of the competition was scheduled for the 26th and 27th of July. Meanwhile, the award distribution ceremony and announcement of winners will take place on 28th July 2022. As per reports, the winner of the hackathon event would receive a grand prize that includes Huawei Cloud Credits along with a laptop. The first and second runner-up is also going to get certain awards.
Morpheus Labs CEO—Pei-Han—noted about the hackathon that it was designed to provide an opportunity to blockchain developers with zero, a little bit or high experience, to grind their skills as well as show them. Han further showed their excitement for the hackathon since many institutions endorse the event. The number of participants signed up for the competition was also encouraging, he added.
Partners of the organizer Morpheus Labs, Nemen Cyber, and ChainUp also anticipated seeking more knowledge about Web 3 space and its latest trends. They also expected to promote their services and seek new ways to stay relevant while working in the space.
