Prime Video To Premiere ‘Culpa Nuestra,’ Epic Conclusion To ‘Culpables’ Trilogy

The passionate and tumultuous love story of Noah and Nick comes to an end with the release of Culpa Nuestra (Our Fault). Starring Nicole Wallace (Skam España, Parot) and Gabriel Guevara (Mañana es Hoy, Hit) in the lead roles, the young adult saga has captivated global audiences with its mix of forbidden romance, fast cars, and steamy passion. The first two installments of the trilogy became some of the most-watched films of their release years, highlighting the Culpables trilogy as a massive hits for Prime Video. The final chapter is set to premiere this October on the streaming platform.

The trilogy’s success began with Culpa Mía (My Fault), which debuted in June 2023 and introduced audiences to the intense chemistry between Noah and Nick. Its sequel, Culpa Tuya (Your Fault), released in December 2024, continued the story and shattered expectations, topping the list of the most-watched international original non-English films on Prime Video. In anticipation of the final chapter, the streaming platform released a teaser trailer for Culpa Nuestra, which quickly racked up more than 800,000 views.

The Culpables trilogy begins with Culpa Mía. The story follows Noah, an independent 17-year-old, who is uprooted from her life when her mother marries the wealthy William Leister. Forced to leave behind her home, boyfriend, and friends, Noah moves into a luxurious mansion where she meets her new stepbrother, Nick. While he appears to be the perfect son on the surface, his polished image conceals a darker side – one filled with illegal street racing, gambling and fights. Despite their differences and the obstacles in their way, the two are irresistibly drawn to one another.

In the second installment, Culpa Tuya, Noah and Nick’s love is tested as they face new challenges. Culpa Nuestra promises to bring their story full circle. The wedding of their friends, Jenna and Lion, brings the young lovers face-to-face after a painful breakup. Nick, now focused on his role as the heir to his grandfather’s empire, and Noah, just beginning to build her own career, are determined to keep their distance, despite their undeniable attraction and the past that connects them.

Argentinian author Mercedes Ron’s Culpables trilogy shares a unique origin with Venezuelan author Ariana Godoy’s Through My Window series. Both began as Wattpad sensations, with Ron starting her trilogy in 2017 and Godoy launching hers in 2016. Now in their early to mid-30s, both authors have seen their stories grow into global phenomena, with millions of readers and successful film adaptations. Both series were turned into film trilogies produced in Spain, with Through My Window becoming one of Netflix’s most-watched franchises and Culpables achieving record-breaking success on Prime Video and the English-language adaptation My Fault: London.

The final film reunites Wallace and Guevara with a stellar cast, including Marta Hazas (Días Mejores), Iván Sánchez (Bosé), Victor Varona (Cielo Grande), and Fran Morcillo (Money Heist), among others. Directed by Domingo González, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Sofía Cuenca, Culpa Nuestra is produced by Pokeepsie Films, the Spanish production company behind hits like Veneciafrenia and 30 Monedas.
