Post Malone Returns To The Charts With Some Help From Ozzy Osbourne

Post Malone’s career has seen him thrive in nearly every genre imaginable — pop, country, rock, and hip-hop — and his versatility is on full display on the United Kingdom’s charts this week. Several of his songs return to various tallies, and they highlight how wide-ranging his appeal is. One of his comeback cuts even reappears for the first time in more than half a decade.

“Take What You Want” Returns After More Than Five Years

“Take What You Want,” Malone’s collaboration with Ozzy Osbourne and Travis Scott, is back on the Official Singles Sales chart this week, landing at No. 85. It performs a bit better on the Official Singles Downloads ranking, where it settles at No. 80.

Ozzy Osbourne’s Passing

The bounce back onto the two lists comes in the wake of Osbourne’s death in July. After an initial surge of renewed attention that was focused on the rock legend’s solo catalog and his work with Black Sabbath, fans have also turned to his 2019 duet with Malone, making it a hit again in Osbourne’s home country.

A Late-Career Ozzy Osbourne Highlight

When “Take What You Want” debuted in 2019 as part of Malone’s album Hollywood’s Bleeding, it launched at No. 51 on both the sales and downloads tallies. Until now, it hadn’t been seen on either list since that year, though it did enjoy a few weeks on the two lists during its initial heyday.

“Sunflower” Returns to the Hip-Hop and R&B Chart

Another older Malone smash, “Sunflower” with Swae Lee, also finds its way back onto one U.K.-based ranking. The blockbuster single reenters the Official Hip-Hop and R&B Singles chart at No. 26. The Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse hit has now spent 262 weeks on that ranking, and it previously climbed all the way to No. 1, and it stands as one of the most successful hip-hop tracks in history.

“I Had Some Help” Still Going Strong

Malone’s first major country hit “I Had Some Help” with Morgan Wallen continues to perform well in the U.K., even though it first became a smash in mid-2024. The country crossover single slips one space to No. 98 on the Official Streaming chart. It soared as high as No. 2 on the list during its 63-week run.

The Diamond Collection Continues to Climb

On the albums front, Malone is also on the rise. The Diamond Collection, which compiles many of his biggest hits – most of which have been certified diamond in America after moving 10 million equivalent units – improves to No. 35 on the Official Albums list and to No. 24 on the Official Albums Streaming chart. Interest in Malone’s catalog, partially spurred by “Take What You Want,” may explain the gains.
