Investors of SafeMoon are allowing Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy off the hook as the plaintiffs filed for his dismissal from the case against him for allegedly encouraging the SafeMoon token.
Dave Portnoy, an internet sensation, posted on Twitter that investors are suing him for “shilling SafeMoon.”. However, Portnoy claimed that he never received any compensation from the project and mentioned that he lost massive funds in investing in the token. Portnoy also quoted that he informed people that the project might be a scam before he made his investment and asked his audience if he should sue the plaintiffs for wasting his time.
After a period of one month, a court filing retrieved by the legal information website Justia showcased that the people who initiated the case against Portnoy filed a notice of dismissal. This follows an earlier filing from Portnoy’s side stating that he has no association with the SafeMoon project.
Earlier in February, a case was filed against several popular celebrities and influencers for initiating a pump and dump scheme relating to SafeMoon. In the case of famous YouTubers Jake Paul and BenPhilips and the widely popular musicians Soulja Boy, Lil Yachty, and Nick Carter.

As the narrative of SafeMoon is incepted from Kyle, he decided that foraying into cryptocurrency is the perfect way to initiate redistribution of some of that wealth back to himself.
Finally, Coffeezilla stated that leaders of the project asserted that rug pulls in SafeMoon were impossible as liquidity tax is locked. It turns out that the project the makers copied was a fraud.
