Paramount Pictures Sets Date For ‘80 For Brady’ With Lily Tomlin And Jane Fonda

Pictures has announced a release date for their new film, 80 for Brady. The upcoming film starring Super Bowl champion Tom Brady, Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda is set to premiere on February 3.

The movie is based on the true story of four friends who take a trip to the 2017 Super Bowl LI to see Brady play. The film’s cast includes Rita Moreno, Sally Field, Sara Gilbert, Harry Hamlin, Glynn Turman, Bob Balaban, Ron Funches and Jimmy O. Yang.

Paramount’s most recent release is the horror film Smile. The studio has several upcoming films in the pipeline, including Damien Chazelle’s Babylon (opening December 25), Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves (March 3, 2023), and a new Scream film coming March 31, 2023, with Spyglass Media Group. 80 for Brady is set to open against Universal Pictures’ Knock at the Cabin from M. Night Shyamalan.

Kyle Marvin is directing 80 for Brady. The film is his first directorial feature. He is probably best known for his work as an actor in AppleAAPL
TV+’s WeCrashed and for co-writing and starring in Sony Pictures Classics’ The Climb in 2019. The script is from Emily Halpern and Sarah Haskins of Booksmart fame. Donna Gigliotti and Fifth Season are producing with Brady through his production company, 199 Productions. Marvin and Covino, aka Martin and longtime creative partner Michael Angelo Covino, are set to executive produce under their Watch This Ready banner alongside Jeff Stott.

Tomlin and Fonda are also longtime collaborators. 80 for Brady will be their third scripted film together. They also collaborated on the NetflixNFLX
comedy Grace and Frankie and Netflix’s Jane Fonda & Lily Tomlin: Ladies Night Live.
