Bitget has taken another step toward bridging traditional finance with Web3, unveiling a new partnership with Ondo Finance that lets its exchange and wallet users trade tokenized shares of global companies and ETFs directly on blockchain.
For the first time, Bitget customers can access digital versions of household names like Apple, Tesla, and Microsoft, alongside major U.S. index funds, all priced in dollars and tradable around the clock.
Unlike many synthetic models, Ondo’s infrastructure connects directly to traditional equity markets, ensuring tokens mirror the performance of their real-world counterparts.
Executives from both companies framed the launch as a breakthrough for accessibility. Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said tokenized assets simplify cross-border investing for retail users, while Ondo’s Nathan Allman compared the rise of tokenized securities to how stablecoins exported the U.S. dollar into crypto markets.
The rollout expands Bitget’s CeDeFi ecosystem and positions its wallet as what CMO Jamie Elkaleh described as a “global asset passport.”
Future plans include broadening the offering from the current 100+ tokens to more than 1,000 stocks and ETFs, while also integrating with additional blockchains beyond Ethereum, including Solana and BNB Chain.
With Ondo already overseeing more than $1 billion in tokenized products, and Bitget serving over 120 million users worldwide, the collaboration signals a major step in bringing mainstream markets onto blockchain rails.
