Olivia Rodrigo’s Two Albums Have Now Reached The Same Milestone

In a little over a month, Olivia Rodrigo’s sophomore album Guts will turn two. The singer-songwriter, who by that point was already internationally renowned, dropped the full-length in September 2023, and it became another massive global commercial win.

In the nearly two years since the second full-length appeared, Guts has remained a top performer on a number of charts, and this week is a very special one for the pop-rock project.

Guts Reaches 100 Weeks on the Billboard Charts

Guts can be found on a trio of Billboard rankings this frame, and it reaches the same milestone on all of them at the same time. Rodrigo’s second studio effort makes it to 100 weeks on the Billboard 200 as well as both the Top Rock & Alternative Albums and Top Alternative Albums tallies.

Guts Joins Sour

Rodrigo has now seen both of her albums make it to triple-digit frames on the Billboard 200, which is often considered the most important and competitive of all albums tallies in America. As Guts rises to No. 56, Sour, her debut, also improves to No. 52 as it reaches 220 stays somewhere on the 200-spot ranking.

Sour Only Lives on One Billboard Chart

While Sour may live just a few spaces above its successor on the Billboard 200, that first title, which introduced Rodrigo to the world, only appears on that one roster. Guts also climbs to No. 6 on the Top Alternative Albums chart and No. 11 on the Top Rock & Alternative Albums list as it celebrates 100 weeks.

Sour and Guts Land Very Close to One Another

Amazingly, both Sour and Guts are only separated by a tiny number of equivalent units, despite the fact that the former has been around much longer. Rodrigo’s debut full-length shifted 15,400 equivalent copies in the most recent reported tracking frame, according to Luminate. Guts, meanwhile, moved just under 15,100. Both of those titles grow by double-digit percentages, and long after they hit No. 1 on a variety of Billboard rosters, Rodrigo’s two efforts both sold a little over 1,600 copies in the U.S. very recently.
