Now You Don’t’ Cast And Characters Guide

The Four Horsemen are back for more magic tricks and takedowns of the corrupt 1% in Now You See Me: Now You Don’t.

The film, directed by Ruben Fleischer, follows the original Four Horsemen — played by Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco and Isla Fisher — as they team up with a new generation of magicians to dismantle a worldwide criminal network.

Here’s the cast of the third Now You See Me movie and who they’re playing, from returning favorites to new additions to the heist franchise.

Jesse Eisenberg As J. Daniel Atlas

Eisenberg returns as Danny, the talented but egotistical leader of the Four Horsemen.

Eisenberg notably portrayed Facebook cofounder Mark Zuckerberg in the 2010 film The Social Network, earning him an Academy Award nomination.

He also played the supervillain Lex Luthor in the previous iteration of the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). In 2022, Eisenberg starred alongside Now You See Me 2 costar Lizzy Caplan in the miniseries Fleishman Is in Trouble, centered on a doctor navigating life after a divorce.

Eisenberg is also a writer and director. He landed an Oscar nomination for best original screenplay for the 2024 film A Real Pain, which he directed, wrote, produced and starred in.

Woody Harrelson As Merritt McKinney

Harrelson reprises his role as Merritt, a member of the Four Horsemen who specializes in hypnotism and mentalism.

Harrelson is a three-time Oscar nominee, thanks to his performances in The People vs. Larry Flynt, The Messenger and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. He’s also known for his Emmy-winning role as a bartender named Woody Boyd on the sitcom Cheers. Harrelson earned additional Emmy nominations for playing Steve Schmidt in the HBO film Game Change and Martin Hart, better known as Marty, on season one of the anthology series True Detective.

The actor is also no stranger to blockbuster films. He’s known for playing Haymitch Abernathy in the Hunger Games franchise and starred in War for the Planet of the Apes, Solo: A Star Wars Story and Venom: Let There Be Carnage.

Dave Franco As Jack Wilder

Franco is back as the Four Horsemen member Jack, who’s skilled at sleight of hand, pickpocketing and lock picking.

Outside of his role in the Now You See Me franchise, Franco is known for comedies like 21 Jump Street and Neighbors, as well as its sequel, Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising. He also starred alongside his older brother, James Franco, in The Disaster Artist.

Most recently, Franco played a fictionalized version of himself on season one of Seth Rogen’s Apple TV series The Studio, starred alongside Alison Brie, his real-life wife, in the body horror film Together and appeared in the movie adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s novel Regretting You.

Isla Fisher As Henley Reeves

Henley is one of the original members of the Four Horsemen, but she didn’t appear in Now You See Me 2. The actor reprises her role as Henley in the latest installment of the franchise.

Fisher is known for starring in comedies like Wedding Crashers, Confessions of a Shopaholic and Tag. She also appeared as an aspiring actor named Rebel Alley on seasons four and five of Arrested Development and guest-starred on shows like Angie Tribeca and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Justice Smith As Charlie

Smith joins the franchise as Charlie, a young illusionist who Danny describes as “a computer full of useless information.”

Smith has starred on TV series like The Get Down, co-created by Baz Luhrmann, and the coming-of-age show Generation. He also appeared in films such as Detective Pikachu, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, I Saw the TV Glow and the Jurassic World movies.

Dominic Sessa As Bosco

Bosco is another young magician recruited by Danny to bring down two generations of criminals with one big trick.

Sessa is a newcomer to Hollywood who made his film debut in Alexander Payne’s 2023 movie The Holdovers. Sessa’s breakout performance as Angus Tully earned him a BAFTA Award nomination. He’s since starred alongside Rose Byrne in the film Tow and will portray late chef Anthony Bourdain in an upcoming biopic titled Tony.

Ariana Greenblatt As June

Greenblatt rounds out the trio of young magicians as June, who’s adept at lock picking.

Greenblatt got her big break on the Disney Channel sitcom Stuck in the Middle, in which she played Jenna Ortega’s younger sister. She went on to portray a younger version of Gamora in Avengers: Infinity War and a young Nina in Jon M. Chu’s 2021 film In the Heights. Greenblatt also starred as Sasha in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie movie and played a young Ahsoka in an episode of the Star Wars franchise series Ahsoka.

More recently, she played Tiny Tina in the 2024 film adaptation of the Borderlands video game series and starred in Netflix’s Fear Street: Prom Queen.

Rosamund Pike As Veronika Vanderberg

Pike stars as Veronika, the film’s antagonist and leader of the wealthy Vanderberg company, which does business with warlords, arms dealers and traffickers as part of a money laundering scheme.

Pike is known for her Oscar-nominated role as Amy Dunne in Gone Girl. She also played Miranda Frost in Die Another Day and Jane Bennet in Pride & Prejudice. In 2023, Pike starred alongside Jacob Elordi and Barry Keoghan in Emerald Fennell’s thriller Saltburn.

Freeman is a legendary actor who’s racked up more than 100 credits since he started his professional acting career in the ‘60s.

He’s known for his distinct voice and is an Emmy-nominated narrator. Freeman is an Oscar winner, thanks to his supporting role as Eddie “Scrap-Iron” Dupris in Clint Eastwood’s Million Dollar Baby. He earned additional Academy Award nominations for his roles in Street Smart, Driving Miss Daisy, The Shawshank Redemption and Invictus.
