NFTs Creating a Beautiful Cycle Between Fans and Artists: Highlights NFT Artist  –

Danielle Weber, an artist, recently expressed her optimism over the concept of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) at the Australia Blockchain Week Conference. She cited that the NFT art space has developed into a beautiful cycle, thanks to artists’ connection with their fans. 

The artist spoke at a panel discussion with the title Pushing the boundaries of NFP utility and art.- Homegrown spotlight. She highlighted the benefits of the NFT ecosystem as it brings the artists to close together with their fans. 

According to her, it is a beautiful cycle that they see in the space. They are closely connected to the fans, so they know what the fans want, further adding that the fans motivate them to create work that is true to themselves and their craft. 

This connection with the fans is apparent the moment someone enters this industry. A collector might join a discord channel or may begin following the artist’s or a collection’s account. And via these media, the collectors can express their opinions or get updates directly from the content creators and know the direction they are taking their art to. 

Weber highlighted that such an arrangement helps the creators and artists to think about how they can give back to their supporters. And that this two-way communication has cut down the need for an intermediary and the galleries that pushes you to stand up as an artist and be at the forefront of your projects.

Whereas another panelist, who is the founder of Mattey, the Metakey NFT collection, noted that the process that generated the give and take cycle in the NFT space took time to develop. He cited that when he started his foray four years back, every discord had like 200 members, and if it had 1,000, it was a big project. 

The NFT industry has indeed grown by leaps and bounds recently, with more and more entities getting into the space. Almost every sector is somehow integrating the concept, for instance, the sports industry, as the NFTs have opened a new way to enhance fan experiences and interactions. 

Last year witnessed a total NFT sales of around $23.1 billion. Some popular NFT Projects are Bored Ape Yacht Club, CryptoPunks, Mutant Ape Yacht Club, Meebits, Axie Infinity, etc. 

Recently, Coinbase got into the sector by announcing its NFT marketplace. Dr. DisRespect was recently in the limelight concerning NFTs. Paris Saint Germain Soccer club also has filed a trademark application to enter the space of Metaverse and NFTs.
