MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough: ‘Donald Trump Hates America’

MSNBC host Joe Scarborough accused Donald Trump of “hating America” and saying the latest video released by the Trump campaign shows “the hatred spewing from Donald Trump’s mouth.”

As a clip of the video aired on Morning Joe Friday, Scarborough started talking over the former president before cutting back to the studio, saying “blah, blah, blah. You know what’s boring to me? What’s boring to me is the hatred of America.”

“Donald Trump hated America before he became president of the United States, talked about the American Dream was dead. Yeah, try telling that to the immigrants, the migrants, the refugees, risking their lives to come to the United States of America, because what do they believe in? The American Dream.”

Trump posted the video to his Truth Social platform Thursday, saying “there MUST be a complete commitment to dismantling the entire globalist neo-con establishment that is perpetually dragging us into endless wars, pretending to fight for freedom and democracy abroad, while they turn us into a third-world country and a third-world dictatorship right here at home!”

Scarborough noted that Republicans not that long ago stood firm that the United States—as former Fox News chief Roger Ailes said—“has fed and freed” more people than any other country in the history of the world. “Roger was right,” Scarborough said Friday. “We won World War I. We won World War II with the help of our allies. We were the driving force. We were the arsenal of democracy. Look what we are doing helping Ukraine push back against war crimes daily. And yet all Donald Trump does, all other people do, is they bash the United States of America.”
