Morgan Wallen Charts New No. 1 Hits Just Before His Billboard Takeover

In just a few days, Morgan Wallen will almost surely debut at No. 1 on multiple Billboard rankings with his upcoming album I’m the Problem. The project will likely reach the summit on every tally for which it’s eligible, and it could generate No. 1 hits across several song rosters — potentially even including the Hot 100.

But ahead of his dominating the weekly rankings, Wallen secures a pair of new champions on a handful of Billboard lists, thanks to one final pre-release track.

“Superman” Soars

Just before I’m the Problem arrived in full, Wallen shared another tune, which was meant to further generate excitement among American fans. “Superman,” chosen as the final promotional single, has already become a quick success on two Billboard tallies. The tune launches atop both the Country Streaming Songs and Country Digital Song Sales charts this week.

“Superman” Earns Morgan Wallen More No. 1s

Coincidentally, “Superman” earns Wallen his seventeenth No. 1 on both the Country Streaming Songs and Country Digital Song Sales charts. He’s now amassed 43 placements inside the top 10 on the sales-only list and collected 37 top 10 hits on the ranking of the most-streamed country tracks in America.

Morgan Wallen Scores Big on Several Billboard Charts

“Superman” also debuts inside the top 10 on three other Billboard tallies, in addition to the rankings where it starts at No. 1. It opens at No. 3 on the Digital Song Sales chart, thanks to 4,000 pure purchases, according to Luminate. The track also enters the Streaming Songs and Hot Country Songs rankings at Nos. 4 and 5, respectively.

Morgan Wallen Nearly Hits the Top 10 on the Hot 100

“Superman” falls just shy of reaching the top 10 on the Hot 100, but it doesn’t miss the highest tier by much. Wallen’s latest offering flies in at No. 16. He’s already collected half a dozen top 10 smashes from I’m the Problem, and two other cuts from the set peaked inside the top 20 – and all of them hit the list before the album dropped.

Wallen’s latest release is one of five tracks from the country star currently charting on the Hot 100 — and it’s his highest-ranking among them.
