After the conclusion of the Call of Duty: League 2022 Season at Championship Sunday afternoon, Activision and Infinity Ward teased some big announcements about 2022’s upcoming Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare II including some exciting stuff to look forward to this coming September, just a month before the game launches.
Next month, gamers can look forward to learning more about Modern Warfare II multiplayer, the sequel to free-to-play battle royale game Warzone and the upcoming Warzone mobile game.
You can read all about the upcoming multiplayer beta scheduled for September right here.
Activision is branding this upcoming event as Call Of Duty: Next and it’s set to be not only a massive reveal for the multiplayer portion of Modern Warfare II but give fans a glimpse into Warzone 2 and Warzone Mobile.
Call Of Duty: Next kicks off on September 15th, 2022, and you can also expect to hear more about what the future of the Call Of Duty franchise holds. I wrote a bit about this in my Modern Warfare II preview earlier this year, which you can check out right here.
Expect a plethora of popular streamers to be at the event broadcasting the game in action a day before the Early Access PlayStation beta starts. (I may try to attend but I’m not sure yet).
If you’re hoping to get into the Early Access portion of the beta but don’t want to pre-order the game, subscribe to my YouTube channel where I’ll be handing out free codes closer to the beta’s start-time.
Stay tuned for lots more Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2 updates—Infinity Ward promises to continue to drop intel until the Next event—by following me here on this blog as well as on my Twitter and Facebook.
