Three mysterious Golden Vaults are now accessible on Call Of Duty: Warzone’s Rebirth Island map.

The vaults have been around since the map’s latest overhaul, but players haven’t been able to access them until now.

The Golden Vaults activated after players earned a whopping $40 trillion in the game’s Blood Money mode during the Rebirth Reinforced event which has a series of challenges to unlock various secrets and bonuses on the map, like weapon Trade Stations.

The three Golden Vaults on Rebirth Island won’t just open up when you get to them, however, and there are no key cards to find (something we’ve seen with other iterations of vaults in Warzone). This time, gaining access to the Golden Vaults is a little bit trickier—but well worth the effort given all the top-tier loot you’ll find inside.

Golden Vault Locations

Before we get started on how to access the vaults, here is the location of each one on the Rebirth Island map:

1. Just below the unnamed area between Docks and BioWeapon Lab, in the area by the water. If you’re at Decon and head to the water you’ll find it.
2. On the bottom floor of Nova 6 Factory.
3. In the cliff just below Living Quarters as you approach from Stronghold.

How To Access Golden Vaults In Warzone

Accessing these three vaults is not terribly difficult, but it isn’t that easy, either, especially since it could put you in the crosshairs of other squads looking to do the exact same thing.

There are a number of steps to follow. The first thing you’ll need to do is head to the Prison and into the area with all the cells. Then . . . .

1. You need to find six TV remotes with red lights on top of toilets in the cells.
2. Interact with each of these to turn the lights off.
3. A phone will start ringing in the center of Prison Block. Answer it.
4. You’ll be given a code—write it down or memorize it.
5. Head to any of the three Golden Vaults and enter the code to gain access.
6. Loot up and get a W.

Note: The code for these vaults is different every match, so you can’t just get the code and then head back in the next match to open a vault. You’ll need to head to Prison Block and complete these steps every time.

Maybe, if you’re feeling a bit trollish, toss a proximity mine down in front of some of the toilets with the remotes. Just a thought.

Once you’ve gained access to a Golden Vault you’ll get some high-end loot which you can either use or trade in at a Trading Station to get some nice bonuses like Gas Masks, Killstreaks and Self-Revives. Never hurts to drop a Loadout Drop marker near a Trading Station for exactly this purpose.
