Make Money —And Earn Miles— Traveling To Music Festivals All Summer

Looking for a summer job? Be a part of the 2023 summer music festival circuit, and travel the country making cash, earning miles and points, and singing along the whole way.

Crewfare, a travel booking platform for festivals, concerts and other events, is looking for a traveling TikToker who can share their experience attending various concerts this summer and fall.

Travel and music have a long-standing relationship together. According to research firm IbisWorld, the U.S. concert and event promotion industry is responsible for more than $28 billion in revenue. This means that not only do concert promoters and musicians stand to benefit, but so do airlines, hotels and other travel-related industries, too.

Crewfare’s contest is just one of many promotions that travel brands are making available to travelers. For music aficionados, this festival experience could be a dream come true, with cash and other perks as an extra bonus.

How to apply

Throughout the month of May, interested social media users can apply for, what Crewfare calls, the “side hustle of the century.” The brand is looking for people interested in culture, the arts and music.

The gig would include summer and fall visits to the High Tide Music & Arts Festival in Charleston, South Carolina on June 3; the Governors Ball Music Festival from June 9-11 in New York; Rolling Loud Miami from July 21-23; and Sound on Sound Music Festival between Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

What you’ll earn: cash, miles and points

In exchange for the regular travel all summer, the lucky “festie” would receive $5,000 as a salary plus all the travel logistics and perks that come with the role. This includes airfare, hotel accommodations and VIP access for two to each of the festivals.

There is also branded merchandise, custom music playlists and snacks to go along with every visit. With so much travel as part of this job, the winner should be sure to sign up for a frequent flyer and hotel loyalty program to rake in more than just entertainment perks. The travel benefits will yield plenty of miles and points, especially if you sign up for the latest spring and summer travel promotions.

Crewfare is popular with event attendees because it also allows people to split payments with other people in the party and book ancillary services like shuttle passes and hotels near the venue. For 2023, the website has almost 100 events available on its upcoming calendar.
