Despite the fact that she hasn’t released a new album of original material in more than half a decade, Madonna has been on a sharing streak lately, one that will continue into 2026. The pop icon delivered a remix album titled Veronica Electronica this summer, which superfans flocked to in large enough numbers to turn into a commercial success – a feat she’s used to after decades in the spotlight.
Months after Veronica Electronica first reached the charts in the United Kingdom, the full-length returns to multiple rosters and even hits a new all-time high after the singer-songwriter released it on physical formats and made them widely available for the first time.
Where Has Madonna’s Veronica Electronica Charted?
Veronica Electronica bounds back onto four rankings in the U.K., and it appears highest on the Official Physical Albums chart. On that list — which looks solely at purchases on CD, vinyl, and cassette throughout the U.K. — Madonna is back at No. 4. That comeback position barely manages to beat the set’s No. 5 starting point, where it launched back in August.

Throughout her career, Madonna has sent an incredible 17 titles into the top 10 on the Official Physical Albums chart. Almost as many projects have landed somewhere on the tally, but not quite made it to the highest tier. That roundup includes eight No. 1s and several other titles that came close, including her 2022 remix set Finally Enough Love.
Madonna’s Veronica Electronica Returns to Its Peak
Veronica Electronica debuted on the Official Albums Sales chart at No. 5 this summer, and it returns to that exact spot this frame. Madonna’s project has only appeared on the general ranking of the bestselling releases of any kind in the U.K. twice, and both times have been at No. 5.
Madonna Has Never Scored a No. 1 on One Chart
Shockingly, Madonna has never reached No. 1 on the Official Albums Sales chart, despite racking up eight champions on the similarly-composed Official Physical Albums tally. The Grammy-winning musician has come closest with Rebel Heart, Madame X, and Finally Enough Love, which all missed the summit by just one space. Veronica Electronica is Madonna’s only other top 10 title on the tally aside from those that peaked at No. 2.

Veronica Electronica also manages to find its way back to both the Official Vinyl Albums and Official Albums charts. On the vinyl-only list, Madonna nearly hits the top 10, as the remix project blasts back in at No. 11, missing its No. 3 high point, but not by much.
On the Official Albums chart, which ranks the most consumed EPs and full-lengths of any language, genre, or format, Veronica Electronica is back at No. 58. That’s fairly far from its No. 23 high point, where it debuted this summer.
When Will Madonna’s Veronica Electronica Become Available on Vinyl?
When Veronica Electronica arrived in late July, it was immediately made available to download and stream, while a limited-edition silver vinyl was also sold, though it quickly went out of print. Madonna announced at the time that more physical formats would go on sale later, and both a clear vinyl and CD dropped on October 10. That unleashing helps Veronica Electronica become a bestseller in the U.K. again this frame.
Madonna Looks Ahead to Bedtime Stories: The Untold Chapter
As Veronica Electronica — which is built around remixes from her Ray of Light era — rebounds, Madonna is already looking ahead to her next release, which is coming in November. The superstar is planning to drop Bedtime Stories: The Untold Chapter, an EP that features various demos and mixes of tunes written and recorded around her Bedtime Stories era.
The song “Right on Time,” set to be featured on the short offering, recently became available to own for the first time, and fans help it debut at No. 62 on the Official Singles Downloads chart and No. 66 on the Official Singles Sales list in the U.K. This frame, Madonna scores a bestselling album and single — even though her next chapter, reportedly based around a sequel to Confessions on a Dance Floor, isn’t set to begin until sometime in 2026.
