LayerZero recently partnered with Manta Network to go live on Manta Pacific. The collaboration will see LayerZero facilitate interoperability across the Manta Pacific.
The announcement was made on the official X/Twitter account of LayerZero. With the integration, Manta Pacific will exercise interoperability with several networks. Optimism, BNB Chain, Ethereum, and Avalanche are some of the networks that are part of the integration.
LayerZero is of the opinion that blockchain networks could benefit from a modular architecture as opposed to the prevalent monolithic design. This would enable the specialization of operations such as data availability, settlement, and execution in order to improve scalability.
LayerZero also allows uninterrupted data sharing across blockchains while maintaining safety and effectiveness. The platform has processed massive volumes of transactions across different networks. That is why it is counted among the most reliable solutions for cross-chain communication.
The Twitter thread also read that Manta Network is one of the best modular execution layers for EVM-native ZK (zero knowledge) applications. The platform uses a different layer for the OP stack and data availability through Caldera. It enables scalability, facilitating a seamless experience for zkApps interactions.
Regarding DA modularization and Ethereum settlement, Manta Pacific utilizes the Blobstream data accessibility service. As Manta integrates dApps across networks, the services are utilized for upgradability. In addition, the platform helps connect dApps across networks for over forty blockchains.
