Alain Ducasse’s contemporary French bistro in Midtown is serving a French feast on Easter Sunday crafted by Benoit’s new Executive Chef Alberto Marcolongo. From 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Benoit will be offering a special Easter brunch for $70/person. With French gougeres to begin the meal, you then dive in to marinated fluke with mint and green peas, followed by a choice of smoked lamb or green asparagus risotto, and finally round out the meal with basil sorbet served with strawberries and fromage frais. A three-course, prix-fixe brunch menu will go $75, including a complimentary mimosa for each guest over 21, at Atlantic Grill this Easter. Recently revitalized by Michelin-starred chef Antonio Salvatore and Monte Carlo Hospitality Group, the iconic restaurant celebrates seafood while evoking Old New York with a touch of Mediterranean influence. Guests may choose an appetizer, such as Salpicon de Octopus (thinly sliced octopus, fresh peppers, mojo potatoes, spices), Sushi and Sashimi Deluxe (chef’s selection of 3 sashimi and 1 sushi roll) or Mediterranean Salad (fresh tomatoes, cucumber, onion, feta cheese, cilantro, vinaigrette); entrées such as: Omelette Atlantic Grill (crab, avocado, cream cheese), Ravioli Atlantic Grill (house made ravioli, Maine crab, brandy cream sauce), Salmon Béarnaise (grilled salmon, green beans, cherry tomatoes, dill, béarnaise sauce) or the Fish Burger (lettuce, tomato, cheddar cheese, tartar sauce, fries); and for dessert carrot cake or a coconut lemon Easter egg. This Midtown East Greek restaurant will offer special dine-in and takeout brunch and dinner for Easter on April 17th and Greek Easter on Sunday, April 24th. The Easter special menu boasts a leg of lamb with roasted potatoes, in addition to having a roasted asparagus salad, whole grilled artichoke and a chocolate mousse for dessert. The Mediterranean style restaurant reflects the historical cuisines shared by modern-day Greece, Italy, France,and Spain with an extensive wine list.
For those headed to the Easter Bonnet Parade on 5th Avenue, Casa Limone an ideal stop for Easter Brunch. Led by Michelin-starred chef Antonio Salvatore, the breezy, colorful restaurant serves up Southern Italian specialties inspired by chef’s upbringing in Basilicata and neighboring regions. A three-course, prix-fixe menu will go for $65, which includes a complimentary mimosa for all those 21+. Guests may choose from a selection of Antipasti, such as: zucca e burrata (roasted squash, Pugliese burrata, pumpkin seeds, bottarga) or carpaccio di salmone (wild salmon, fennel, sun dried tomatoes, radishes); Mains such as: Margherita pizza (fior di latte mozzarella, tomato, basil), Tagliata e Uovo (steak and eggs, salad, fries) or lobster Benedict (Maine lobster, poached eggs, hollandaise); and dolci such as tiramisu or crostata di limone. On Easter Sunday, the two-Michelin starred restaurant will offer a special three-course prix-fixe brunch by Chef Emma Bengstton from noon to 3 pm. Dishes will include deviled eggs with Matjes Herring and shallots, Shrimp Skagen Smørrebrød, Allspice Roasted Rack of Lamb with broccoli rabe, garlic scapes, and pearl onion, and her signature Princess Cake.
Socarrat Paella Bar is celebrating the special occasion by serving traditional ‘Pascua’ dishes at all three locations. For $68 per person, each guest will begin their meal with classic tapas including Bunuelos de Bacalao featuring beignets stuffed with cod brandade, asparagus y Ibérico with roasted asparagus, Jamon Iberico 5J, and a poached egg, roasted Farmers Market Spring vegetables with manchego sauce. For the third course, a choice of Spring lamb or seafood paella is available. For dessert, delightful options like Spanish Torrijas with poached pear and vanilla ice cream and churros con chocolate will be offered. Available for indoor and outdoor dining.
On Easter Sunday from 10am-4pm, Yves, the French brasserie in Tribeca, is hosting a spit-fire cookout. Menu items will include roasted beet and goat cheese salad, spit-roasted Harissa-marinated leg of lamb with sides of rosemary and garlic fingerling potatoes and sauteed lacinda kale; and carrot cake ($35).
