Lady Gaga is back in the top 10 once again on Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart–a ranking she’s come to know very well throughout her career.
It has been three years since the pop star’s last top 10 hit, but she has finally made her way back to the coveted position on the competitive Pop Airplay chart, which ranks songs based on the audience they receive at pop radio in the United States each week. This time, Gaga has reached the region with an unlikely smash – “Bloody Mary.”
This time around, “Bloody Mary” climbs the two spaces it needed to reach the top 10 on the Pop Airplay chart, rising from No. 12 to No. 10. The tune marks Gaga’s fourteenth placement inside the highest tier on the tally. The song was originally released on the superstar’s 2011 album Born This Way, but it was not promoted as a single at the time. In fact, it was relegated to fan-favorite album cut status until last year.
The track went viral on TikTok after fans superimposed the cut over a video of actress Jenna Ortega dancing from the Netflix

The dark tune also lifts to a new peak of No. 3 on the Adult Pop Airplay ranking, and slips slightly to No. 43 on the Hot 100 after missing out on becoming another top 40 hit by a few spaces.
“Bloody Mary” marks the fourth top 10 on the Pop Airplay from Born This Way, joining the title track, “The Edge of Glory” and “You and I.” Gaga last reached the loftiest region in the summer of 2020 with her Ariana Grande collaboration, “Rain on Me.”
According to Billboard, “Bloody Mary” required 16 weeks from when it debuted on the Pop Airplay chart in December 2022 to reach the top 10. The magazine also points out that the single is Gaga’s first top 10 without any other artist featured in just under a decade.
