Crypto exchange Kraken has launched Krak, a new cross-border payment and asset management app designed to streamline global fund transfers.
According to the information, the app enables near-zero cost transactions across 110 countries and supports more than 300 assets, including cryptocurrencies, stablecoins, and fiat currencies.
One of the app’s standout features is that users do not need to input bank details or wallet addresses—a major shift in ease-of-use for global remittances and decentralized finance.
Krak is positioned to challenge traditional payment networks by removing the friction, cost, and technical barriers often associated with cross-border transfers.
While more technical specifications are expected to follow, the app marks Kraken’s bold move into the global fintech and digital payment space beyond the typical exchange model.
