KiloEx has detailed a tailored compensation plan for affected traders, Hybrid Vault stakers, and VIP users following the April 14 security incident that briefly disrupted platform operations.
Traders with open positions during the platform outage (18:27–19:40 UTC) will receive full reimbursement for losses that increased or profits that decreased during that time. Limit orders will be canceled, but TP/SL orders will execute normally.
- If a loss grew from $100 to $200 during the outage, users will be compensated $100.
- If a profit fell from $500 to $300, users will receive a $200 reimbursement.
KiloEx urges users to close open positions promptly after the platform resumes to ensure accurate compensation.
Hybrid Vault Stakers Get Yield Boost
Since all stolen funds were successfully recovered and re-injected, principal and earnings remain safe. To thank users, KiloEx is launching a Special Yield Boost Campaign from April 24 to May 24, 2025:
- Eligible deposits: USDT and USDC on opBNB, BNB Chain, Base, and Manta
- Bonus: +10% APY on top of base yield, paid in USDT
30-day holding required for eligibility - Example: A $1,000 deposit earns ~$13.4 total, with $8.2 coming from the bonus yield.
Upgrades for VIP Users
A snapshot from April 14 will determine user levels. All impacted VIP members will get a +1 level upgrade (VIP7 excluded) and 30 days of VIP status protection, including for current VIP7 users.
