The Scarlett Johansson blockbuster hit Jurassic World Rebirth is reportedly new on digital streaming this week.
Directed by Garth Edwards (Rogue One, Godzilla), Jurassic World Rebirth stars Johansson stars as Zora Bennett, a mercenary who, along with paleontologist Henry Loomis (Jonathan Bailey) is hired by pharmaceutical executive Martin Krebs (Rupert Friend) to travel to a forbidden zone near the equator to find and extract DNA from three different dinosaur species.
Should the duo — along with another mercenary, Duncan Kincaid (Mahershala Ali) — be successful, the DNA will be the missing piece of a puzzle in a medical breakthrough that will cure heart disease.
Jurassic World Rebirth also stars Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Luna Blaise, David Iacono, Audrina Miranda, Philippine Velge, Bechir Sylvain and Ed Skrein.
The film is expected to debut on digital streaming via premium video on demand on Tuesday, Aug. 5, When to Stream reported. While When to Stream reports are typically accurate, the streaming tracker noted that the digital release date for Jurassic World Rebirth has not been announced or confirmed by Universal Pictures and it is subject to change.
Jurassic World Rebirth is listed for pre-order for $29.99 on Prime Video, which will also be the film’s purchase price. The film is expected to be available for a 48-hour rental for $24.99 since PVOD titles typically are $5 less than digital purchase prices.
In addition to Prime Video, Jurassic World Rebirth will be available on such digital platforms as Apple TV, Fandango at Home and YouTube.
